My name is Arnold Dubin and I live in Indialantic in east-central Florida. I primarily enjoy photographing various nature subjects. I also like taking candid pictures of people in their natural environment, documenting my family’s travel adventures, and just walking around our neighbor photographing various subjects. In January, 2013, I started taking home photos around Brevard County using a HDR (High Dynamic Range) technique.
I became interested in photography when I was a teenager, starting with a Kodak Brownie. I had my own black and white darkroom in the basement of our house. In 2004 I purchased a point-and-shoot Nikon 990. The first Digital Single Lens Reflex camera I purchased was a Nikon D70. Since then I upgraded to a Nikon D200, then to a D300, D300s and recently a full-frame D750. I shoot with multiple lenses ranging from 12mm to 600mm in focal length. I use Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, and various plugins to enhance my photos.
I have been using Photoshop since 2005, and Lightroom since 2009. To enhance my photos I use Lightroom eighty-five percent of the time. I'm available to take home photos; do one-on-one training on Lightroom, Photoshop, and HDR processing; and conduct nature field trips in my local area.
