on April 24, 2020THAT we have in spades! What we also have is the adjoining magnolia, now 60 feet spread and 40 feet tall, shedding its leaves onto our patio, but the sweet aroma going in the opposite direction. You'd think a tree with such large blossoms would have more scent, but our lemon and tangelo tree provides that (and petals all over the place) galore. This is the sweetest time of year with the citrus blooming after just picking the last fruit three weeks ago. I have a large orchard: one tangelo, one Meyer lemon (3 feet), and one not Meyer Lemon (kept to seven feet so I can trim it and pick the fruit without getting on a ladder - which I don't do anymore).
