Marvelous capture; I've tried to get a shot of a kingfisher several times, but they've always been moving too fast or in shady locations. I don't see them often, but I'm going to keep trying!

Hi, this is absolutely Superb.

THIS is what I'm after! I haven't been able to get close enough, and I've only got one female from a distance. As I keep reminding/telling everyone, it's the only species - except for humans - where the female is prettier than the male! Oh, well, back to the pond tomorrow, There's always a chance...
