on November 19, 2017I remember in Florida the Black Vultures were at least as common as Turkey Vultures. The Black were much easier to photograph and were quite comical at times.

I see lots of turkey vultures up here. I don't think we get black vultures. Just now the turkey vultures are congregating in flocks prior to their migration southward, and my neighborhood seems to be a focal point for these gatherings. Twice a year I see dozens at a time circling and soaring near the house. I never tire of it.
